Our HATHOR Base provides a close shave with a lot of cushioning, smoothness, and lingering slickness. After shaving, your skin feels soft, moisturized, and smooth without feeling oily or tacky.

We were inspired to name this base after the Egyptian goddess Hathor, often depicted as a cow in ancient Egyptian culture, this base embodies her nurturing and celestial attributes, symbolizing care, protection, and indulgence.

THE PROCESS

We use the hot process method to make our shaving soaps. This allows us to apply premium ingredients like Donkey Milk, Murumuru Seed Butter, Jojoba Oil, and Evening Primrose Oil in their unsaponified for improved nourishing and moisturizing effects.

Donkey Milk

Rich in essential vitamins and minerals, including potassium, phosphorus, iron, zinc, calcium, magnesium, iodine, retinol, and vitamins A, B, C, D, and E, Donkey Milk offers:

The HATHOR Base is a soft shaving soap (CROP), formulated for effortless brush loading and a rich, luxurious lather.

Important Note:

WE DO NOT RECOMMEND BLOOMING THE SOAP (SOAKING IT WITH WATER BEFORE USE), AS ITS SOFT TEXTURE ENSURES EASY LATHERING WITHOUT THIS STEP.

For Optimal Lather and Maximum Performance:

1. Load your brush by swirling it on the soap’s surface for approximately 10 seconds to pick up the perfect amount of product.
2. Create lather in a bowl or directly on your face, gradually adding water as needed.

This soap lathers quickly and effortlessly. Incorporating more water increases the lather’s density and enhances its creamy, buttery texture, ensuring excellent cushion and slickness for a superior shaving experience.

The HATHOR Base lather has exceptional water retention, allowing you to customize its consistency according to your preference. Do not hesitate to add more water for optimal hydration and performance.

Scent Strength Indicator

The Scent Meter Label on the bottom of the jar represents the fragrance strength once lathered, rather than the scent straight from the container.
